astikhinСвердловские команды AppScale и OpenWarehouse, принявшие участие в отборочном этапе Slush2011 в Хельсинки, завершили свое выступление. От себя лично поздравляю командуAppScale которая вошла в TOP-20 (всего в первом раунде участвовало 100 команд) и это, без сомнения, стало весомой заявкой свердловских участников. Вот что написали в своем блоге организаторы:

Slush100 is the pitching competition of the conference where nearly 200 startups applied, 100 startups we’re chosen to pitch. 20 teams proceeded to Round 2, and only seven pitched on the main stage for the final prize.
All of the Startup Sauna teams pitched in the Slush100 in the first round, and we were happy to hear that InBelly and Appscale got into round 2.
However, the Startup Sauna teams all had a front row seat in the Final round where they got to see Ovelin wow the crowd with their musical instrument learning app. Ovelin was the winner of Startup Sauna last year and had an amazing pitch in front of the 1000 member audience.
We can attest to say that Ovelin, when first started the program last spring, was still working on their pitch. Chris Thur, CEO of Ovelin spent hours perfecting his presentation and it is safe to say that a good pitch takes practice practice practice!
